So! Valentine’s Day is approaching so that means date night for many of us, single or otherwise. The classic Valentine’s date is going to the cinema and there are lots of films to chose from, so here is a run-down of potential Valentine’s Day date movies:
The Vow
Ok so lets start with the ‘obvious’ choice for the romantics among us. The Vow, starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, is a story about a girl who wakes up from a car accident and doesn’t know who her husband is. He then has to prove they are married and ultimately, make her fall in love with him again. A real Valentine’s Day classic.
This Means War
This film is a romantic comedy about a girl who has two boyfriends who happen to both work together as spies for the CIA! So ensues a fight for her love! The film stars are Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
The Woman in Black
Daniel Radcliffe’s, first film since the Harry Potter films, has him starring in this Gothic Horror. He is a lawyer sent to a remote village and finds a vengeful ghost who is terrorising the locals. A great choice if you are looking for someone to cuddle up to/ have cuddled up to you!
Safe House
Ryan Reynold’s character is sent to take care of a safe house and a rogue CIA agent, Denzel Washington. The ‘safe’ house is then raided and he finds himself on the run, not knowing who to trust.
Star Wars Episode I (in 3D)
Our favourite sci-fi adventure has returned for us to view like we have never seen it before, in 3D! Just make sure they love sci-fi as much as you before you book the tickets otherwise it could be an abrupt ending to the relationship, for either of you!
So what are you going to see this Valentines day? Let us know in the comment section below…
