We all love movies, but with prices rising, sometimes you have to pick and choose which ones to go and watch. Here’s a rundown of the top 5 films most likely to persuade us to part with our money.
Perhaps the most anticipated film of the year is The Dark Knight Rises. This third installment of this highly successful series ends with Christopher Nolan’s interpretation of The Batman. Catwoman and Bane force a retired Batman to return and fight for Gotham City’s survival, starring Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anne Hathaway.
Hoping to give Dark Knight Rises a run for its money, the latest Spiderman film is reported as staying true to the comic books. The Amazing Spider Man opens on July 3rd.
Prometheus is getting science fiction/horror movie fans on the edge of their seats with this prequel to Alien. It also works as a stand alone plot, so if there is anyone left on the planet that hasn’t seen Alien, this will work for them too.
Men in Black 3 once again stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. J must stop an alien from assassinating his partner Agent K in the past. It is due to open on May 25th.
The Hunger Games opened on March 23rd and is set to be one on the must see films of 2012. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson.
