“Come take a look at this” my boyfriend beckoned laughing like a hyena. ‘Great’, I thought, rolling my eye. What is it this time? An app in which a dinosaur stomps out a city? A Nintendo 64 iPhone cover? Or worse… something from Star Trek? Low and behold it was actually something interesting and/ or not nerdy. His favourite show is Game of Thrones and although I’m not a fan personally, he showed me this amazing clip where they act out the season one trailer with little Lego men. This hilariously inventive stuff is amazing, here are a few of my faves!
The Dark Knight
“Why so serious?” (cue evil joker laugh). Brilliant! The Bat-mobile is the best thing I’ve ever seen made from Lego… ever.
Inglorious Basterds
In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis… Lego Nazis.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
J K Rowling’s finest novel in my opinion, and they have ever remembered Harry’s scar, is there anything they can’t do at Lego HQ?
Iron Man
Robert Downey Jr as a Lego man? Enough said.
The Walking Dead
This one is the best, especially the Lego man who I assume is supposed to be Daryl, he even has his trademark curtains haircut. Magical!
