The latest series of X Factor kicked off on Saturday night with a brand new group of talented contestants and a new judging panel. The show proved its popularity with 10.5 million people tuning in to watch the first episode.

This year looks set to have more X Factor than ever before with bosses hoping for extended three hour episodes to appear in the live finals.
